Potato Curry

  • 2-3 Big Potatoes (Boiled and Mashed)
  • 2 Big Onions (Chopped)
  • 3-4 Green Chillies (Finely Chopped/Paste)
  • 4-5 Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 Tsp Mustard Seeds
  • A big pinch of Turmeric
  • 1 Tsp Channa Dal (Optional)
  • 3-5 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Oil

Potato Curry

Method:

– In a kadai, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Allow Spluttering.
– Now add the channa dal and stir fry for about 1 minute till it changes colour.
– Add in the Onions, curry leaves and green chillies and stir fry till onion is translucent.
– Add turmeric powder and coriander leaves. Fry for 30 seconds.
– Add the mashed potatoes and mix well.
– Serve with Dosa or Puri.
