I saw this in a magazine and tried this sweet and salty dish.
– Cut the Guavas into thick circles.
– Heat oil in a shallow fry pan, and add the mustard seeds; allow spluttering.
– Add curry leaves and the Guava pieces.
– Reduce heat to medium and cook the Guava pieces on both sides till golden brown. Make sure to turn the pieces very gently.
– Add the grated coconut and stir very gently.
– Cool to room temperature.
– Garnish with Chaat masala and serve at as a Starter.
