Spicy Fish Masala
2-3 Servings ~ 15 minutes
  • 250 grams Fish
  • 1 Medium Onion - Finely chopped
  • 2 Small Tomato - Finely chopped
  • 1 Tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 Green Chillies/ per taste
  • 3 Tbsp Tamarind Juice
  • ½ Cup Fresh Coriander - Finely chopped
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2+3 Tsp Oil

Spicy Fish Masala

Try this mouthwatering dish.


– In a kadai heat 2 Tsp of oil, add in onion, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, green chillies, tomatoes, tamarind, and salt.
– Add a glass of water and boil well till all the ingredients are cooked.
– Add the fish and coriander.
– Add 2-3 tsp oil and cover and cook for 6-7 minutes or till fish is cooked.
– Serve hot with Chapattis or white rice.

Tip: Add water to thin the gravy if using with white rice.
