Special Onion Pakoda

Try this special and easy Onion Pakoda on a rainy day.


2 medium-size Onion – Thin slices
3 Green chillies – Finely chopped
3 tbsp Fresh Coriander leaves- Finely chopped
3 tbsp Cashew nuts
½ Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
2 Tsp Coriander powder
½ Tsp Turmeric powder
A Pinch Asafoetida
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds/ Jeera
1 tbsp Garam masala
1 tsp Pepper powder
Oil to deep fry


-In a bowl mix all the ingredients. Add water & make it a dough format.
-Heat a wok/kadai & pour oil for deep frying.
-Take the mixture bit by bit with your hand & put it in oil.
-Serve it with tamarind chutney.
