All in my family love this easy to make recipe. Just can’t get enough of those made by my mom. We would just wish for it and my mom would make it. Missing those days.
Fine Rava 1 Cup
Sugar 1-1 ¼ Cup (Per taste)
Ghee 3 Tbsp
Grated Dry Coconut ¾ -1 Cup
Cashew 15-20 (cut to halves)
Raisins 15-20 (cut to halves)
Warm Milk ¼ Cup
– Dry roast the rava in medium flame till a nice aroma comes without burning while stirring continuously. Allow to cool. Powder the sugar along with cardamom seeds. Keep aside.
– Grind the grated dry coconut to as much fine as possible. Keep aside.
– Heat ghee in a kadai/wok, add in the cashew and roast till golden brown. Keep aside. To the same ghee add in raisins and sauté till they swell. Off the flame and add in the cashew, roasted rava and sugar. Mix well. Now add the grinded dry coconut & mix well.
– On the flame and mix this mixture for 2-3 minutes and then add the milk and mix thoroughly. Take off flame and allow it to cool for 5 minutes. Now take a small portion (lemon size) and shape them into small balls.
P.S : If using the normal rava make a powder of the same once roasted.
