Born a vegetarian, i cook only chicken as a non-vegetarian food at my home. I saw this recipe on a cookery show and the way the chef made i felt i can cook this with ease. It came out very well and my hubby and son just loved this.
Fish ¼ Kg
Tomato 2 Small (Finely chopped)
Green chillies per taste
Onion 1 Medium (Finely chopped)
Tamarind Juice 3 Tbsp
Coriander leaves ½ Cup (finely chopped)
Dhaniya powder 1 tsp
Jeera powder 1 Tsp
Turmeric ½ Tsp
Ginger-Garlic Powder 1 Tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 2+3 Tsp
In a kadai heat 2 Tsp of oil, add in onion, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, dhaniya powder, jeera powder, green chillies, tomatoes, tamarind, and salt. Add a glass of water and boil well till all the ingredients are cooked. Add the fish and coriander. Add 2-3 tsp oil and cover and cook for 6-7 minutes. Serve hot with white rice or chapattis.
