Green gram protein dosa

Green Gram is a very digestive food for people. Its regular use helps one to get the required nutrition and promote health. It is an excellent medicine during cholera, measles, chicken-pox, small-pox, typhoid and all types of fevers. Green gram when sprouted is highly nutritious.

Ingredients:

Green Gram     1 ½ Cup (Soak Over-night)
Rice Flour     ¾ Cup
Grated Carrot     1 Cup
Onion      1 Medium (finely Chopped)
Green Chillies     3-4/Per Taste(Finely Chopped)
Jeera Powder     1 Tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for fry

Method:

In the morning grind the soaked green gram, green chillies and salt to a fine paste (as fine as possible), adding enough water to the consistency of dosa dough (pouring consistency).
Pour this into a bowl.
Add in the rice flour and mix well, making sure that there are no lumps.
Keep aside for a minimum of 45 minutes.
Now mix in the onion, carrot and jeera powder to this mixture.
Heat a flat tawa, pour a spoon of the dough and spread evenly.
Apply little oil on the sides and cook on slow flame.
Cook both sides.
Serve hot with Coconut chutney.
P.S. These dosa’s don’t taste too good when cold.
