Tomatoes                  1 medium size
Coriander leaves     2 tsp finely chopped
Rasam powder         1 tsp
Tamarind juice         2 tsp
Pepper powder         1/4 tsp
Jeera powder            1/4 tsp
Garlic                          2 tsp
Turmeric powder     a pinch
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds         few
Red chilly                   1
Curry leaves              a few
Oil                                 2 tsp


1.In a pan add the tomatoes & fry for sometime till they turn mushy add the coriander leaves,rasam powder,salt,pepper,jeera,turmeric powder & garlic.
2.Fry for a minute & add a cup of water to this & let it boil.
3.Now add the tamarind juice to it.Heat oil in another pan & add the seasonings one by one.
4.Add this to the rasam.Serve hot with rice.
