Biryani can be prepared in veg form & even in non-veg. Beef biryani is one of the tastiest biryani among non-veg.
2 tbsp oil
1 spn jeera
1 bay leaf
2 small cinnamon sticks
2 green cardamoms
2 spns each of cashewnuts & kishmis
3 sliced onions
3 green chillies slited
2 spns each of chopped ginger & garlic
1 bunch full curry leaves
Salt to taste
2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 spn turmeric powder
3 tbsp coriander powder
1 diced tomato
15 leaves of pudina
2 tbsp of garam masala.
1 1/2 cups of basmati ricce
1 tbsp ghee
250 gms of beef
3 cups of water
-Take beef in a bowl.Wash it & marennete with coriander powder,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,salt & meat masala.Keep it in freezer for 15 minutes.
– Keep a cooker on stove & pour oil.
– Add jeera,bay leaf,cloves,cardamom & cinnamon.
– Add cashewnuts,kishmis,ginger & garlic.
– Add curry leaves,onion & green chillies.Mix well till onions become soft.
-Add turmeric powder,salt,coriander powder & red chilly powder.Mix all well.
-Add tomatoes & pudina leaves.Mix well till both becomes soft & leaves the aroma.
-Add the marenneted beef in it & pour water.
-Close the lid & leave it for 20 minutes in sim after the 1st whistle.
-On other stove,keep a pan.Pour ghee & fry the washed basmati rice in it.
-After 20 minutes,when cooker will leave it’s pressure then open the lid & add rice.
-Mix well.Again close the lid & leave it for 1 whistle.
-Have it hot with raita.
