Vegetable rice is an item which you may have never had before.It’s very simple to make & can go with any side dish gravies.You will love the preparation to it’s taste.
1.Basmati Rice 2 Cups
2.Chopped vegetables 1 cup
3.Water 4 1/2 cups
6.Saunf 1/2 spn
7. Bay leaf 2 medium
10. Cardamom 3
13.Green chillies 3
14.Turmeric powder 1/2 spn
15.Garam masala 1 spn
16.Soya sauce 1 spn
17.Chilly powder 1 spn
18.Coriander powder 2 spns
-Boil 2 cups of basmati rice in cooker & keep aside.
-Add chopped potatoes,beans & cauliflower in cooker.
-Pour half glass of water & pinch of salt.Mix well & close the lid and leave it for 1 whistle.
-Take a pan,pour oil,saunf,bay leaf,cloves,cinnamon & cardamom.
-Fry for sometime & then add chopped onion,garlic & green chillies.
-Add salt & a pinch of turmeric.
-Keep mixing till onion becomes soft.
-Add chopped capsicum & 1 bowl of green peas.
-Add garam masala,soya sauce,chilly powder & coriander powder.Mix all well.
-Then add boiled vegetables & rice to it.Mix gently & it’s ready to serve.
