Paani Puri

Paani puri is liked by all-elders & kids.We all usually have paani puri at any chaat centres.But you can prepare it easily at your home & it will be more healthy than you will have it from street sides.


1.Potato                   1
3.Jeera                   1 tbspn
4.Onion                 1 finely chopped
5.Green chilly       2 chopped
7.Turmeric powder          a pinch
8.Chilly powder                1 spn
9.Coriander powder        1 spn
10.Garam masala             1/2 spn
11.Chat masala                  1 spn
12.Coriander leaves         chopped,for garnish
13.Golgappas/puris           1 packet
14.Jaljeera powder             1 tbspn
15.Water                             2 glasses


-Boil the potatoes in a cooker.
-Keep a pan,pour oil,jeera,chopped onions & green chillies.
-when the onions will become a bit soft then add salt,a pinch of turmeric,chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala & chat masala.Mix it well.
-Add finely chopped coriander leaves.
-Then take the boiled potatoes,smash it well & add into the pan & then mix it so well that potatoes will be mixed with the other ingredients.
-Take a glass of water into a bowl,add jaljeera powder & chopped coriander,mix it well.
-How to have it:Poke the puris a bit in the center,keep the smashed potatoes in that & pour jaljeera water.
