Masala Rice

Rice has a plenty of ways to be prepared.One among them is the ”masala rice”,it has the tinch of different spices  which you could have never had ever before.

Ingredients:

1.Rice                                  1 cup
2.Water                              2 cups
3.Oil
4.Coriander seeds          2 tbspns
5.Jeera                             2 spns
6.Heeng powder            1/2 spn
7.Cloves                           3
8.Bay leaf                       2
9.Dry red full chillies    2
10.Coconut                     4 tbspns grated
11.Cinnamon                  1
12.Mustard seeds          2 spns
13.Curry leaves
14.Capsicum                  1 small-sliced
15. Salt
16.Green peas                1 bowl
17.Ginger                        small piece,finely chopped
18.Green chillies           3 chopped
19.Coriander leaves        for garnish
20.Cashewnuts                6
21.Ghee                             1 spn

*Method:

-Boil rice first & keep aside.
-Keep a pan on stove,pour oil.
-Add coriander seeds or coriander powder,jeera,cloves,bay leaf,dry red fully chillies,grated coconut & cinnamon.Mix it well & put these ingredients into a mixy.Blend it well & keep aside.
-Again keep the pan & pour oil.Add mustard seeds,jeera,heeng,turmeric​ powder,curry leaves,sliced capsicum,salt,green peas,ginger & green chillies.
-Put that whole grinded masala into it.
-Add boiled rice in it.
-Garnish it with grated coconut,chopped coriander leaves & fried cashewnuts in ghee.
-Serve hot.
